I feel compelled to paint .Things I find interesting are as varied as my work. It's a very personal feeling when a work is done, you just know it, beautiful! Self taught, I'm always learning. Being a woman artist, I look for shapes and subjects in life that move me to interpret them. Be it pretty, bold, funny or thought provoking, my eyes are always open. My hope is that my work is not only seen by you but also felt.
Living in Seattle for many years has taught me an appreciation for clean blue skys and lush green vegatation.

Jason Waskey
 
Jason Waskey is a Seattle artist whose work is devoted to capturing a sense of time and place, especially with the everyday things around us.
His work is rooted in lessons of the past, inspired by artists like Degas, Hopper, and the Wyeths, but his paintings are very much an exploration of today.
Jason's works have been exhibited nationally and internationally in both group and solo gallery exhibitions. His art has been in numerous publications.
He resides in Seattle, where he paints everyday.
